Pacific North Championship Set 5/7/16
The Pacific North Rugby Football Union (PNRFU) Championships are set for May 7, 2016 at Pat Ryan Field in Seattle. The event is being hosted by the Emerald City Mudhens and will feature a full slate of club competitions.
10:00 am Division III Men's - Napa Valley vs. 43rd State
Two undefeated clubs will face off in the Division III matchup. The undefeated Napa Valley Wine Thieves, coming off their 27-10 NCRFU Championship victory versus Colusa County, will play the the 43rd State Crimson Lions hailing form Boise, ID.
12:00 pm DII Women's - Life West Gladiatrix vs. Bend Roughriders
The undefeated Life West Gladiatrix will host the Bend Roughriders. The Roughriders are coming off of a 22-19 win over the previously undefeated Emerald City Mudhens.
2:00 pm DII Men's - Sacramento Capitals vs. Portland Pigs
The Sacramento Capitals, fresh off of an NCRFU Championship win versus Vacaville, will face off against the Portland Pigs. The Pigs upset the previously undefeated Bend Roughriders 20-19.
4:00 pm D1 Men's - Life West Gladiators vs. ORSU Jesters
The undefeated Life West Gladiators will play host to the Oregon Sports Union (ORSU) DI men's club. Life West, the reigning DII Men's USA Rugby National Champions, defeated the EPA Razorbacks 22-15. The club is 39-0 since under coach Age Ferris in two seasons. ORSU defeated Portland rivals, Eastside Tsunami, 31-28.
