Northern California Rugby Community | Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Survey

Dear NCRFU Membership,

I am excited to announce that we are about to convene the first Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Committee meeting which will be scheduled in early December 2020. The DE&I Committee is open to any and all NCRFU members in good standing who would like to participate in developing access and equity in NCRFU. Our DE&I Committee charge is critical in making us a stronger, more effective organization and will help us better serve our membership. I look forward to leveraging the insights from this committee to inform both policy and practice as we continue to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout NCRFU clubs and membership. We have work to do in this area and we are making it a priority.

I believe that we will see many benefits as we become a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization. Most importantly, you will be empowered to contribute your authentic viewpoints, thoughts, and ideas in support of building and strengthening rugby at all levels in Northern California. We will also broaden our ability to attract, develop, and retain both player and coaching talent by extending our resources to connect with leadership that more closely represents the communities we serve.
